Update: This article explains how to switch between Playground accounts when those accounts are connected to different emails. Playground now allows users to attach multiple accounts to the same email; for a guide on how to create and switch between accounts with a single email, refer to this article.

If you have students enrolled in different schools or have students that you are a guardian for that belong to different family units you can use our "switch account" feature to quickly switch between these different accounts.

Assuming you have already signed up and signed in to one Playground account, this article will walk you through how to add an additional family to your app.

First, you must sign up for Playground using a sign up link provided to you by the new family or school that you are adding to your app. For security purposes, you must use a different email than the one you used to sign up for your first account. If you are having trouble creating a new email, please send us a message at [email protected] and we will help you work with the same email as your existing account in a secure fashion.

Once you have signed up using the new email, you should sign out on the Playground app. You can do that by heading to menu icon in the top left corner, then click on "My Account" and then pressing the red "Sign out" button.

Once you are signed out, sign back in using the email and password for your new account that you just created. You can refer to the sign in guide if you are having any issues.

Once you are signed in, head back to the "My Account" tile. You should now see a row that says "Switch accounts" that will let you switch accounts. If you click on it, you should see a popup on the bottom of the screen with a list of all the accounts you have signed into and you can tap on one of them to switch between families and schools.
