Admins and teachers can check a student in or out from the app. Tap "Roster" at the top of the Playground app. The student roster will appear with a list of students.

If a student is checked-out, they will have a gray Check-in bubble to the right of their name. If a student is checked-in, they will have a gray Check-out bubble to the right of their name. Tap the bubble to the right of the student you wish to check in or out.

If the guardian is nearby, select the guardian from the list by tapping the circle near their name. If the guardian is not nearby, select your name from the Staff list at the bottom of the screen. Tap the blue "Check-in" or "Check-out" button at the bottom of the screen. If you selected a guardian on the previous screen, have the guardian sign their name on your device. If you selected yourself, sign your name. Tap "Submit".

You'll receive confirmation at the bottom of the screen that the signature was recorded.
