Open the Playground app and tab "View your student's profile" at the top of the screen. Tap the gray "Mark absence" button. Tap the Absence date section to edit the date to the day in the future that your student will be absent. Select the date from the calendar. Next, type in a reason for the absence in the white space under your student's name. Tap "Done" in the top right corner.
