CRM Calendar Connections

Sync your calendar to CRM to schedule tours with ease.

This article walks through how to connect, manage, and disconnect a calendar in Playground CRM. Connecting your calendar allows tours to be scheduled directly on your calendar, prevents double-bookings, and ensures leads can only book during times you are truly available. By syncing calendars with availability settings, you can streamline tour scheduling and avoid scheduling conflicts.

💡 At this time, only Google and Microsoft calendars can be connected to Playground.

Connect a Calendar

  1. From your CRM Dashboard, navigate to Settings, and then click Connections.

  2. Click the three dots next to your connected email and then click Connect Calendar. If you have login access to the calendar you want to connect, click Link Account Now. Otherwise, copy a link to send to the person with login access.

  3. A window will open to login to your calendar. Click Allow to connect your calendar.

  4. Under Connected Accounts, a blue tag will appear to indicate that your calendar is connected.

  5. Now that your calendar is connected to Playground, you can connect it to an availability to ensure that meetings cannot be booked when you are not available.


Connect Calendar to Availability

Connecting a calendar to an availability allows meetings to be added to the connected calendar as soon as they are booked and/or check the connected calendar for conflicts to determine if a time slot is available.

  1. From your CRM Dashboard, click the Meetings tab and then click Availability.

  2. Click the Actions button next to your availability and then click Edit.

    1. If you do not have an availability yet, click Add Availability.

  3. The Edit Meeting Availability page will open. Navigate to the Calendar Settings section at the bottom of the screen. Toggle on Sync Meeting Bookings and Conflicts.

    1. Meetings will be added to: Select the calendar that you would like new meetings booked to be added to.

    2. Check for conflicts on: Turn this on to stop new meetings from being booked when your calendar already has an event. Leads can only book tours during your available times when your calendar is free.

  4. Click Save & Exit to confirm your changes.


Disconnect a Calendar

  1. From your CRM Dashboard, click the Settings tab and then click Connections.

  2. Click the three dots next to your calendar connection and then click Disconnect.

  3. The disconnect calendar modal will open. If you only want to disconnect your calendar, click Disconnect Calendar Only and then click Disconnect.

💡 If a calendar is linked to an availability, you must remove it from the availability before disconnecting it from Playground.
