Playground’s newest features and improvements are now shared right inside the product. Instead of checking emails or external pages, admins can open the Support panel and see what’s new with a single click. This makes it easier to stay up to date on changes that impact your program.
Continuous Product Updates
Playground is constantly being refined behind the scenes. We release updates regularly across billing, enrollment, CRM, paperwork, scheduling, and more, sometimes small improvements that make your day easier, and sometimes larger features that unlock entirely new manage your program day to day.
Some releases introduce brand-new tools. Others improve areas you already rely on every day. Many updates also include performance enhancements and bug fixes that keep everything running smoothly.
Because these updates happen often, we want it to be easy for you to see what’s new. Instead of wondering whether something has changed or digging through old emails, you can check recent updates directly inside your account. It’s a simple way to stay informed, explore new features at your own pace, and make sure you’re getting the most out of Playground.
How to Access Product Updates
You can view updates directly from both the web platform and the mobile app.
On the Web
Click the Support button in the top right corner of your screen.
In the panel that opens, scroll to the What’s new section. Each item listed there links directly to the full update article for that release.
If you want to see everything that’s been published, click View all updates. This will take you to the full changelog website, where all past releases are listed in one place.
On the Mobile App
Open the main menu and tap Support.
From there, select Recent Updates. This will open the changelog in your browser, where you can read the latest update articles and browse previous releases.
Exploring the Full Changelog
The updates you see in the Support panel highlight the newest releases. If you want to see everything we’ve pushed live, the full public changelog has it all.
In the past 12 months alone, we’ve shipped 859 updates and counting. That’s more than 16 updates every week. Some are small tweaks that smooth things out. Some are bug fixes that clean things up behind the scenes. And some are larger features that genuinely change how you use the platform. Either way, that’s a steady pace of improvement.
That kind of pace means we’re in the product constantly, reviewing it, adjusting it, and making it better. And a lot of that work comes straight from you. From support tickets. From feature requests. From “hey, it would be easier if…” conversations. From moments where something didn’t quite feel right. We pay attention to those patterns. When something can be improved, we build a better version of it. And once it’s ready, we roll it out and share exactly what changed so you’re never left guessing.
You can explore the full changelog here.
When you open any update, you’ll see a simple breakdown of what changed and where it applies. Updates are grouped by area so you can quickly find what’s relevant. Most major releases include screenshots, and many include short videos so you can see exactly what’s new without guessing.
We don’t build quietly in the background. If we’re improving something, you’ll be able to see it.
Inside a Product Update
When you open an update, you’re not just seeing a headline. Each release is broken down clearly so you can understand what changed and where it applies.
Updates are organized by product areas, like Billing, CRM, Enrollment, Payroll, or other parts of the platform. That way, you can scroll straight to the sections that matter most to you instead of reading through everything.
Under each section, you’ll find a simple explanation of what was added, improved, or adjusted. Some updates introduce brand-new features. Others refine tools you already use every day. And because we’re shipping updates regularly, the changelog itself is typically refreshed on a weekly basis, so there’s usually something new to review.
The releases include screenshots so you can see exactly what the update looks like before you start using it. Many also include short video walkthroughs, especially when a feature changes how something works. Those videos give you a quick walkthrough of the feature so you can see how it works in real time.
Some improvements happen behind the scenes and make the platform run more smoothly. Others are changes you’ll notice right away. Either way, everything we release is documented here so you can see what’s new and decide what’s useful for your program.
If you ever have an idea, suggestion, or feature request, we encourage you to submit it. Many of the updates in the changelog started as feedback from providers using Playground every day. You can submit your ideas here:
On the web platform, click the Support button in the top right corner. Scroll to the bottom of the panel and select Request a feature request to share your idea.
On the mobile app, open Settings and tap Give us feedback. From there, you can submit suggestions, feature requests, or general feedback.
There’s a good chance you’ll see your suggestion show up in a future release.
