Camber is your built-in AI assistant in Playground, designed to make writing easier, faster, and more effective for busy educators and administrators. Whether you're creating a post, drafting an email, or sending a quick chat, Camber helps polish your message by correcting grammar, adjusting tone, and even generating content from scratch. With just a few clicks, you can transform your writing to be more concise, professional, or friendly, so your communication always hits the right note.
Introducing Camber: AI Support for Posts, Emails, and Chats
Camber is the AI built into Playground that helps you write better posts, emails, chats, and more. You can access Camber by clicking the purple star icon on the right side of your screen.
💡 Camber is enabled for teachers by the admin through the role settings.
It offers five different functions, each designed to improve your communication.
Help me write this | This feature helps you quickly generate or rewrite content—just type a prompt, and Camber will turn it into a polished message |
Fix my spelling & grammar | Automatically checks your text for spelling and grammatical errors, then corrects them to improve readability and accuracy. |
Make text more formal | It changes your text to a more professional tone, replacing casual language with formal phrasing for business or academic use. |
Make text more concise | Shortens your writing by removing unnecessary words while retaining the original meaning. |
Make text more friendly | Adjusts your writing to sound warmer and more approachable, using casual and positive language. |
Camber for the Feed
Use Camber to Craft Clear, Friendly Announcements in the Feed:
Navigate to the Feed tab in your admin dashboard.
Click into the post field to start writing your announcement.
On the right side of the post box, click the star icon to open Camber.
Select one of the Camber options (like “Make friendlier” or “Fix grammar”) to improve your message. A Quick Guide to "Help Me Write This" in Camber:
Click on “Help me write this” from the Camber options.
A window will pop up where you can type or paste your text.
Click the blue arrow to generate an improved version.
You can regenerate the text as many times as you'd like.
When you're happy with the result, click the blue checkmark to apply it, or the X to cancel.
Review the suggested changes and apply them if you're happy with the result.
Once you're ready, post your announcement to the Feed.

Camber for Chat:
Make your chat messages shine with Camber:
From the admin dashboard, navigate to the Chat tab.
Click on the chat you want to enhance.
Click the star icon on the left side of the chat field.
💡 The "Help Me Write This" feature in Camber is currently unavailable for chat messages.
Camber for CRM Emails
Getting Started with Camber in Emails:
Click Switch to CRM.
From the dashboard, navigate to the Marketing tab.
Click on Emails.
Click Add Email, then select From Scratch.
Click the AI Suggestion button.
Choose the option that best fits your needs.
Getting Started with Camber in SMS:
Click Switch to CRM.
From the dashboard, navigate to the Marketing tab.
Click on SMS.
Click Add SMS, then select From Scratch.
Click the AI Suggestion button.
Choose the option that best fits your needs.
