Reporting Dashboard
Playground CRM comes pre-loaded with a handful of built-in reports to help you get started quickly and confidently. These default reports are a great starting point, giving you immediate visibility into key enrollment and communication data so you can spend less time setting things up and more time making informed decisions.
New reports created can be saved to your dashboard. Click view to see the report in detail and/or edit the report.
Create New Reports
When creating a report, you can start with a pre-built template or create a custom Funnel Insight. Playground’s templates are a great starting point and can be easily customized to capture the specific data you need. Funnel Insights help you visualize how leads move from one stage to the next, making it easy to identify trends and spot where drop-off may be occurring.
Template Reports
To view all template reports, click the blue Create Insight button from the Reporting tab. A modal will open with all available templates. Each template report includes a recommended use case, chart visualization and a preview of the data included.
See the table below for a description of each type of report.
Time-based analysis | View lead distribution over a selected period of time. For example, track new leads created each week to see whether your marketing efforts are driving an increase in lead volume. |
Stage & status | View number of leads by last activity date or another date-based field. For example, use last activity date to identify leads that may have fallen out of contact and need follow-up. |
Source & attribution | Create a pivot table to analyze leads across multiple properties. For example, view lead stage by source to see which sources drive the most leads to the final stage and use that insight to focus your marketing efforts. |
Create a Report From a Template
From your CRM Dashboard, click the Reporting tab, and then click Create Insight.
Select a template and then click Use Selected Template.
The report editor will open.

Be sure to click the save changes bar as you go!
Funnel Insights
Funnel Conversion Reports show how leads move through each stage of your funnel, from initial inquiry to finally becoming enrolled. They help you understand how many leads advance from one stage to the next, where drop-off occurs, and how efficiently your funnel is performing overall. By identifying bottlenecks and conversion rates at each stage, you can pinpoint opportunities to improve follow-up, messaging, and processes to convert more leads.
From your CRM Dashboard, click the reporting tab, click Create Insight, then click Create Funnel Insight.
The Funnel Insight editor will open.
Query steps: Select the stages that you want to view in the funnel. As you add stages the funnel chart will appear on the right hand side.
Customize Settings:
Time Range: Select the time period for which you want to analyze leads in this funnel
Conversion Window Limit: Choose the maximum amount of time a lead has to complete all steps in the funnel to be counted as a conversion
Step Order: Select the step order.
Sequential: Leads must pass through stage to be counted as a conversion.
Any Order [recommended]: Leads can complete steps in any sequence
Conversion Rate Calculation: This calculation determines the per step conversion rate at the bottom of each bar.
Overall Conversion [recommended]: The conversion rate is calculated by the percent of leads that move from the previous step.
Relative to Previous Step: The conversion rate is calculated by the percent of leads that move from the previous step to the next step.
Adjust Filters [Optional]: Add a filter to view the funnel conversion for a select set of leads.
Click the blue Save button to save your funnel conversion chart. Then name your insight and click Save. The chart will now appear on your CRM reporting dashboard.
