Newsletters are an excellent way to keep families informed about what's happening at your center. Customize the templates in your Playground Feed and send out weekly or monthly newsletters to keep everyone updated. You can even schedule newsletters to go out on a specific day/time.

View Newsletters
From your Admin Dashboard, click the Feed tab from the left sidebar.
Click Newsletters from the right side of the screen.
Your sent and drafted newsletters will appear in a table.
Click the three dots next to a newsletter and then click View.
The newsletter will open, and you can view what was sent to guardians.
Click Save & Exit to return to the main newsletter page.
Create a Newsletter
From your Admin Dashboard, click the Feed tab from the left sidebar.
Click Newsletters from the right side of the screen, and the newsletter page will open.
Click Start a Newsletter. Name your newsletter in the Subject Line field. Then, choose to either Start From Scratch or select a predesigned professional template.
The newsletter template or blank screen will appear for you to start drafting your newsletter.
Format the newsletter to your liking.
Double-click the text fields to type new content.
Click an image to replace it with your own image.
Drag and drop new content or body sections from the right sidebar into your newsletter.
Drag existing sections up and down to reorder them.
Click body from the right sidebar to edit the background color, font, and more.
To save a draft, click Save & Exit in the top right corner. The draft will now appear when you navigate to the Newsletters page. You can reopen the draft to keep working on it.
Click Send test email in the top right corner and add your email.
Pro tip: make sure the email looks good on both mobile and desktop before you send it out.
Once you are ready to send out the newsletter, click the blue Select Recipients & Send button in the top right corner of your screen.
The Send Newsletter window will open. Choose whether you would like the newsletter to go out now or at a specific time in the future.
Click the blue Select Recipients button, then select the students, staff, classroom, or programs that should receive the newsletter.
[Optional] Toggle on Use Reply To Email if you would like guardians to be able to respond to the newsletter.
You can edit your reply to email from your admin dashboard Settings tab.
Finally, click the blue Send Newsletter button.
Edit a Draft or Scheduled Newsletter
From your Admin Dashboard, click the Feed tab from the left sidebar.
Click Newsletters from the right side of the screen, and the newsletter page will open.
Click the three dots next to a draft or scheduled newsletter, and then click View.
The newsletter will open, and you can format it to your liking and send it out.
Delete a Newsletter
From your Admin Dashboard, click the Feed tab from the left sidebar.
Click Newsletters from the right side of the screen, and the newsletter page will open.
Click the three dots next to a draft newsletter and then click Delete.
🚨 Only drafts or scheduled newsletters can be deleted.
Duplicate a Newsletter
You may want your newsletters to follow a similar format each month. To streamline the formatting process, you can easily duplicate a previously sent newsletter.
From your Admin Dashboard, click the Feed tab from the left sidebar.
Click Newsletters from the right side of the screen, and the newsletter page will open.
Click the three dots next to the newsletter you want to duplicate, then click Duplicate.
The New Newsletter window will open. In the subject line, type a name for your newsletter and then click Copy Newsletter.
The newsletter will open, and you can format it to your liking and send it out.
View Newsletter Recipients
If you want to confirm who received a newsletter, you can view newsletter recipients.
From your Admin Dashboard, click the Feed tab from the left sidebar.
Click Newsletters from the right side of the screen, and the newsletter page will open.
Click the three dots next to the newsletter and then click View Recipients.
The Post Recipients window will open with a full list of everyone who received the newsletter.
