When you need information or materials from Guardians, Playground can help make and collect those requests via the Chat and Feed.
Utilize Chat for Single Family Requests
If you need to request materials from one family, Chat is the best option. With Chat, you can send an in-app message to a set of chosen guardians. Any Guardian you include in the Chat will be able to respond and include attachments.
π¨ If you add Guardians of multiple children to a chat, they will all be able to see your message and other Guardians' responses. If you're requesting any sensitive information, make sure that you're only chatting with one family.

Make a Custom Feed Post
Custom Feed Posts are the easiest way to request materials from multiple families, since you can customize your post to include things like forms or media attachments, and send the post via in-app notification, email and/or SMS. You can also switch between Individual student details and Shared details.
Navigate to the Feed tab and click on Post settings.
βThe next screen will allow you to manage the Allowed default post types and create Custom post types.
βClick on Allowed default post types to choose which post types you and your staff can use when creating a post. The post types highlighted in blue will be displayed.
βCustom post types enable Administrators to create customized post types.
Under Custom post types click Add custom post type.
βThe Icon will appear as the tile image on mobile.
βEnter the name of the post under Post Type.
βSelect from the dropdown menu under Settings. Choosing Individual student details will require specific information for each student while opting for Shared details allows for bulk posting.
