If a student at one of your centers is transferring to another center, you can easily transfer their Playground account while maintaining all of their profile information and history.

💡 This article applies to multi-site (enterprise) Playground users only.

Transfer a Student to Another Center

  1. From your Enterprise Dashboard, click the student's original location.

  2. Click My School and then Students. Click the name of the student your want to transfer.

  3. Once on the student's Overview page, click on the Settings tab for this specific student.

  4. Scroll all the way down and then click the Copy into another school button.

  5. On the new page, type the name of the center the student is transferring to. Click on the center once it pops up in the drop-down menu.

  6. Choose whether to assign the student to a classroom at the new center.

    1. If you select Yes, you will be able to choose the classroom you want this student placed into at the new center.

    2. If you select No, the student will be copied into the new center without a classroom assignment, and you can assign them later.

  7. Review which details will be copied into the new center.

    1. The student’s personal details, such as their name, birthday, allergies, and other profile information, will automatically be copied into the new center. If applicable, you can also choose to copy any enterprise paperwork submissions by selecting the checkbox.

  8. Choose whether to copy the student’s guardians.

    1. If you select Yes, all of this student’s guardians will be copied into the new center.

    2. If you select No, the student will be linked to a guardian who already exists at the new center instead of copying new guardian profiles over.

  9. Choose what will happen to the student at the original center.

    1. Use the drop-down menu to decide whether the student should remain active at their current center or be marked inactive after the transfer.

  10. If you choose to deactivate the student, select which items you want to remove from the original center. You can choose to remove:

    1. Any future debits that have not been posted or paid

    2. Autopay for this family

    3. Enrolled programs

    4. Future schedules

    5. Scheduled actions, such as future classroom assignments

  11. Click Next: Review changes.

  12. Review the details that will be copied.

    1. This page shows you what information will be copied into the new center, as well as what will remain at the original center, such as siblings, billing history, programs, schedules, enrollment history, feed posts, and center paperwork.

  13. Click Confirm and copy student.
