If your program offers drop-in care, you can view & book available flexible care slots at your convenience. Follow the instructions below to book drop-in care.
Book Drop-in Care
You can view and book available slots for your kid(s). These slots are paid for in advance of care.
📱 You'll need to have a Playground account and be logged into the mobile app in order to book Drop-in care.
In the Playground mobile app, tap the blue View [child name] Profile button to navigate to your child's profile.
Tap Schedule. This will show you the days & times your child is currently scheduled for care.
Tap Book drop-in care.
Tap the day you'd like to book care.
Have multiple kiddos? Tap Add sibling to book for multiple kiddos at once.
Tap Select a time next to Start time and End time to input a start and end time.
Once the start and end time have been entered, options for your child/children will populate, along with the available spots for each. You will also see any associated pricing.
Tap Add to cart to add the selected availability to your cart.
The Add to cart button will be blue if you are able to book.
The Add to cart button will be grey/black if there is an issue/conflict. Tap the grey/black Add to cart button to find out why the selected times can't be booked.
Click Review booking to continue. You can also click Remove next to the selected availability to remove it from your cart.
Add or select your preferred payment method.
Tap Add discount code, enter a code, and tap Redeem if your school gave you one.
After reviewing your order, tap Reserve & pay to book your drop-in care slots.

Can I book drop-in care on the web version of Playground?
No, drop-in care must be booked on the mobile version of Playground.
Why don't I see any drop-in care availability?
Why don't I see any drop-in care availability?
If you don't see any drop-in availability, your school may not offer it. Reach out to them to confirm. They may still need to add the availability on their end.
