Playground payroll streamlines operations by consolidating scheduling, time-tracking, PTO requests, and payroll processing into a single platform, eliminating the need for external software. Employees can effortlessly log their hours and submit PTO requests, while administrators have the tools to edit timesheets, approve or deny PTO, create staff schedules, and process payroll—all within Playground. The platform also manages payroll tax calculations, payments, and filings, simplifying the entire process for administrators.

Staff Hours
Staff hours clocked in Playground are seamlessly pushed to the payroll
Total pay due is automatically calculated
Weekly and daily overtime pay is automatically calculated

Employees enter direct deposit information into Playground
Employees can choose to split their paychecks between multiple accounts
Manual payroll (cash or checks) can be processed if desired
Taxes
Payroll taxes are automatically calculated and submitted to tax agencies

Price
Playground Payrolls is $40/month + $10/employee/month.
The base subscription ($40/month) must be purchased to begin onboarding. The per-employee price will be charged once the first payroll is processed.
💡 You will only be charged for the number of employees who receive pay in a given month.
For example, if you have 10 employees but only pay 8 of them in the month of August, your total employee price would be $80.
Setup
Payroll setup takes three weeks. Schools can expect to process their first payroll three weeks from the day they purchase the payroll subscription.

Embedded Setup
Playground will handle the transfer of payroll information for schools transferring from a major payroll software (Quickbooks, ADP, Gusto, OnPay, etc.) Embedded setup takes less than 5 minutes for admins to initiate. Playground handles the rest!

Currently, payroll is available to everyone except the following:
Non-profits outside of California, Texas, New York, & Florida
Businesses with multiple locations
