Mobile App Settings Overview for Admins

In this article, you'll learn how to navigate and customize your Playground mobile app settings as an admin. From adjusting your home screen and roster view to managing notifications and accessing support, we’ll walk you through each section so you can personalize your app experience with ease.

Navigate to the Mobile App Settings

  1. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner

  2. Scroll down and tap Settings


Settings Categories

Device

Require a password when switching accounts on shared devices, and disable portrait mode screen orientation.

Customize Home Screen

To update which quick action tiles appear on your home screen:

  1. Navigate to the Customization section.

  2. Tap the arrow next to Quick Actions.

  3. Select the quick action tiles you want to display on your home screen.


Modify Student Roster View

You can modify how you view the student roster, whether as a list or in tile format. To view in tile mode:

  1. Navigate to the Customization section.

  2. Toggle on the Roster Tile Mode to view the student roster in tile format.

Quick Overview of Student Activity

When the roster is in tile mode, you have the option to view each student's activity directly within their tile:

To enable this view:

  1. Navigate to the Customization section.

  2. Toggle on Roster Tile Mode.

  3. Toggle on Student Activity to display activity details within each student tile.

Modify Notification Settings

Under the Account section, you can adjust your notification settings:

  1. Tap the arrow next to Notifications to expand the settings.

  2. In the Notification Center window, toggle Chat Notifications on or off.

  3. Toggle Comment Notifications on or off as needed.


Locate your PIN code

Tap View PIN code, to find your PIN code.
