Learn how to adjust the Playground mobile app settings to align with your daily needs as a teacher.
Navigate to the Mobile App Settings
Tap the three lines in the top left corner of your Home screen
Select Settings from the menu.
Settings Categories
Most items have an explanation making it easy to understand what each of the settings does. But for a quick overview please refer below.
Device | Require a password when switching accounts if using a shared device and remove portrait mode screen orientation |
Chat | Allow parents to start chats with you |
Customization | Adjust your home screen’s quick action tiles and student roster view |
Account | Change language and notification preferences |
Signing | View Pin code to clock in and out of work |
Support | Access Help Center articles, chat live with Support team, and give feedback |
Legal | Access Terms of Service and Privacy Policy |
Customize Home Screen
Under the Customization category, tap on the right tick arrow next to Quick Actions.
Select which the quick action tiles you want to see on your home screen.
💡 To reset to the original quick action tiles click the Reset button in the top right corner.
Adjust Student Roster View
Tap the the roster at the top
Tap on the setting slider on the left side
Tap the Tile view tab and tap the Done button
Optionally you can chose how the students are sorted

View Student Activity at a Glance
Tap the the roster at the top
Tap on the setting slider on the left side
Tap the option that says Dsplay activities
Choose whether you want to display: Fluid, Potty, Nap
Tap the Done button
🚨 Roster Tile Mode must be on to view student activity at a glance.
Adjust Notification Settings
Under the Account category, tap on the right tick arrow next to Notifications to set your chat notification preferences.
Toggle to the left Chat and click Save in the top right corner to no longer receive chat notifications.
Find your Pin Code
Under the Signing category, tap on the right tick arrow next to View Pin Code used to clock in and out of work.
