Need to update your Playground password or locked out of your account? This article walks you through how to reset a forgotten password or change your password from account settings.
Reset Your Password in the Mobile App
If you've forgotten your password or can't sign in, follow these steps from the mobile app:
Open the Playground app on your device. If you're currently signed in, you'll need to sign out first.
On the Sign In screen, tap Forgot password?
Enter your account email address to receive a password reset link.
The link is valid for 24 hours. If it expires, repeat these steps to get a new one.
If you don't see the email within a few minutes, check your junk or spam folder.
Open the email, tap the reset link, enter your new password, and tap Save.
You should now be able to sign in with your new password.
🚨 If you're still having trouble or the reset email isn't arriving, ask your administrator to send you a new sign-up link. The link will reset your access without deleting any of your data.
Change or Reset Your Password on the Web
You can also update your password from a web browser, whether you're currently signed in or not.
Change Your Password While Signed In
Sign into your account at https://app.tryplayground.com.
Click your name in the top right corner.
Click Account Settings.
Scroll to the Security section and click Change password.
Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.
Click Save.
Reset Your Password While Signed Out
Go to https://app.tryplayground.com in your browser.
Click Forgot password?
Enter your account email address to receive a reset link.
Open the email and follow the link to create a new password.
