Need to update your Playground password or locked out of your account? This article walks you through how to reset a forgotten password or change your password from account settings.
Reset Your Password in the Mobile App
Open the Playground mobile app and navigate to the login screen. If you are currently logged in, you'll need to log out.
To log out, tap the menu option in the top left-hand corner, tap Settings. Then scroll down to the bottom, and tap sign out.
Tap Forgot password and you will be brought to the Forgot password screen.
Enter your account email to receive a password reset link. The link is valid for 24 hours. If it expires, repeat the steps to get a new link.
Note: If you do not see the email within five minutes, please check your junk folder.
In the email, tap the link, enter your new password, and then tap save. You should then be able to sign in to Playground using the password you just entered!
🚨 If you're still having trouble or haven't received the password reset email, please contact your provider directly and ask them to send you a new sign-up link. The new link will help you reset your password and give you access your account. Their contact info should be available on their website if needed.
Change or Reset Your Password on the Web
If you are already signed in on a web browser, you can update your password directly from your account settings without logging out.
To change your password while logged in:
Sign in to your account on a web browser.
Click your name in the top right hand corner
Select Account Settings.
Locate the security section click on the Change password button.
Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.
Click Save to update your password.

Go to the Playground sign-in page in your browser.
Click Forgot password.
Enter your account email to receive a password reset link.
Open the email and follow the link to create a new password.

If you’ve checked your spam folder and contacted your school but still haven’t received the link, your school will need to copy it and send it to you directly, as your email address may be blocking incoming messages from Playground.
