Listings is a feature in Playground that lets families browse, register, and pay for programs on their own. You can use it to offer enrichment classes, camps, open play, birthday parties, and more. Families can sign up through a shareable link or an embedded page on your website, and you stay in control of the details, pricing, capacity, and who gets in. This article will walk you through everything you need to know.
🚨 Listings is a newer feature that isn't included in all Playground accounts. If you'd like to learn more or find out if it's available for your account, reach out to your account manager.
What Listings Is
Listings is a Playground feature that gives your program a way to offer additional activities outside of your core enrollment. Instead of going through the traditional enrollment process, families can browse available programs, pick what works for them, and register and pay on their own.
You can use Listings for just about any add-on program your center offers. Some common examples include enrichment classes, after-school clubs, summer camps, open play sessions, and birthday parties.
Listings are designed to be self-serve. That means less back-and-forth for your team and a faster, simpler experience for families.
How It Works
Once a listing is set up, families can access it through a shareable link or an embedded page on your website. From there, they can browse available programs, select the one they want, and complete registration and payment on their own.
On your end, you can track registrations, manage orders, and keep an eye on capacity all from the Listings tab in Playground. When a spot opens up or a program fills, you stay in control of what happens next.
What You Can Manage
Listings gives you a lot of flexibility in how you set up and run your programs. Here is a quick look at what you can control:
Pricing and billing plans - Set your pricing with a flat rate or per-day and per-week options
Discounts - apply promo codes or automatic discounts like sibling discounts at checkout
Capacity and waitlists - set a seat limit and automatically prompt families to join a waitlist when a program is full
Orders - view and manage every registration from one place
Visibility - publish, unpublish, or archive listings whenever you need to
