Sign Into the Playground app

This article explains how to sign into the Playground app if you already have an account.

If you are new to Playground and have not received a sign up email yet, you will not be able to create an account from the app. Accounts are created through an invitation from your provider or administrator.

Who this is for

You can sign into the Playground app if you are a parent or guardian, a staff member, or an administrator and you have already been invited to Playground by your provider and created an account.

If you have not been invited yet, you will need to ask your provider or admin to send you a sign up link before you can continue.

To sign in on the website, visit https://app.tryplayground.com

For the app, your first step is to download the app.

Once you download the app onto your device, you can sign in using the login you created when you signed up for the app. Open up the Playground app on your device and you should see the following screen.

Enter your email and password. If your email is not properly formatted, you will see a red outline letting you know that you entered it incorrectly.

Press log in once all of your information has been entered. If you or your provider uses a single sign-on, tap on Other sign in options to proceed.


If you see an error saying your email cannot be found or your password is invalid, double check the following:

  • Make sure you are using the same email address your provider invited

  • Check for typos and confirm the email format

  • Use the eye icon to confirm your password is entered correctly

🚨 Signing in is not the same as creating an account. Downloading the app or visiting the sign in page does not create an account. To use Playground, your provider or administrator must first invite you by email. That invitation includes a sign up link where you set your password and finish creating your account.

If you are not receiving a password reset email or are unable to sign in after trying the steps above, the fastest fix is to ask your provider or administrator to resend your Playground sign up link. Resending a sign up link will not delete any data it just reset your account to regain access.
