When getting started with Playground, it's crucial to inform your families and staff about the new system. We've prepared copy-and-paste email templates that you can use and modify to share information about the transition to Playground with your families and staff.


Introducing Families to Playground

Draft Email to Inform Families

💡 Families will receive an email invitation from Playground when you invite the guardians to sign up, but it's recommended to also give families a heads up. Feel free to copy and paste the message below to share with families before you invite them to Playground.

Subject Line: Look out for a Playground invite

Dear Families,

We’re excited to share that we will start using Playground, for family communication, online bill pay, digital paperwork & attendance, and more. Playground is proven to save time for staff, allowing them to spend more time with your children, as well as deliver a much smoother experience for parents.

You will soon receive a sign-up email to create your Playground account and connect to your child's profile. Simply click the Create account button in Playground email to finish creating your account. Then, be sure to download the Playground School Management mobile app to your device and log in.

You can sign into Playground on both a web browser and via their mobile app. You can download the app for Apple and Google Play app stores.

It’s important that you activate your account before the start date above, since this is how we will sign-in/out your children from now on. To get started with some of the great features for parents, we recommend looking into these guides about:

Billing Go-Live

💡 We recommend sending this right before charges are sent to families

Hi Families! We are excited to announce that we will soon be managing our tuition and invoicing through Playground. With this change, you will be able to pay online, manage all your charges and payments in one place, view past statements, and easily access tax reports. Playground also offers the highest levels of security and compliance in the industry, ensuring your information is safe and encrypted.

If you haven't added a payment method, please do so in your billing portal. We have a simple guide showing how to do so. And, we highly recommend turning on autopay for your convenience.

Reminder: Sign Up For Online Billing

Hi Families! Friendly reminder to add your payment method to your Playground account if haven't yet. We have a simple guide showing how to do so.

Reminder: Enable Autopay

Hi Families! Quick tip: You can enable autopay in Playground. This will automatically charge your payment method on file on the day an invoice is due. You'll still receive payment confirmations, but this way you don't need to worry about going into Playground to make a payment every time.

Check in / out

Hi Families! We are excited to announce that starting [Date], we will begin using Playground to check your children in and out of our program. This quick and easy system uses a QR code and your cell phone to accurately track your child's attendance.
