Guardian app overview
Once you've signed up for Playground as a parent, download the Playground App from your device's app store and log in.
You'll land on the Feed screen. In the upper-right corner, you'll see the QR code icon and the chat icon. Tap the QR symbol to open the app's camera to scan your center's QR code for check-in and out. To the right of the QR code symbol is the chat icon. Tap on this icon to access your chats.
In the upper left corner, you'll see a menu icon that opens up:
Payments: If your center uses Playground's Payments feature, manage and make payments here
Guardians: Add, edit, or delete the guardians associated with your child
Documents: Upload, view, and fill out forms for your center
Carpools: Schedule and manage carpools to grant temporary sign-in/out permissions to other parents at your center
Programs: Additional activities or services such as sports or drop-in care
My Account: Manage account preferences, switch accounts, and log out
View and update your student's profile
To view your child's profile, tap on the blue section at the top of the Feed screen that reads as "View child's profile". You can tap on "Edit profile"(1), "Mark absence"(2), or add a Note(3). Lastly, you can update your child's profile picture by tapping the user profile icon(4).
